    Hey friends of IMTAL - two big deadlines are coming up. January 31, 2014 is the deadline to submit applications to participate in the IMTAL Showcase at AAM as well as the deadline to apply for the first ever Jon Lipsky award for museum theatre playwrights. Lipsky award guidelines are available at For the showcase, send the title, type of show, running time, technical needs, number of actors and a script or link to video.     Just how "global" was this global conference?
    A quick check of the attendee list showed attendees from eight nations:
    New Zealand

    Twelve U.S. states:
    North Carolina
    New Hampshire
    The District of Columbia

    Did I leave out your point of origin? Maybe...I'm still a bit bleary from the conference.

    As you may know the US federal government is currently shut down. IMTAL has had to alter the schedule for our global conference.
