The mission of the International Museum Theatre Alliance is to inspire and support the use of theatre and theatrical technique to cultivate emotional connections, provoke action, and add public value to the museum experience.

Thank you, Chicago!

There will be a full report on the conference here very soon, but before too much time slips away, we wanted to  thank our friends at Timeline Theatre, Second City, DuSable Museum of African American History, The Shedd Aquarium, Petterino's, all of our presenters and performers, and our fantastic hosts at Museum of Science and Industry. The conference was the best attended event we've ever had (and we had a huge percentage of first-time attendees!). We are energized, and focused on promoting museum theatre to every institution that wants continue excellence and  inspire their visitors.
