IMTAL offers three categories of membership: Individual, Business/Institution and Student. The details of membership benefits are outlined below.
The IMTAL membership year runs May 1 - April 30. Any membership application received after January 1 of any given year will be valid through April 30 of the following year. All memberships expire on April 30.

Individual IMTAL Membership ($55 US)

Individual membership benefits include:
1) Exclusive access to the Members Only section of our website where you can:
* View minutes from Board meetings and conference calls as well as IMTAL's
financial reports.
* Search a database of museum theatre articles and abstracts incluing all
feature articles from past issues of INSIGHTS and the Museum Theatre
Journal (published by the former "PIC," Museum Theatre Professional
Interest Council) (coming Spring 2008).
* Get in touch directly with other IMTAL members through the Membership
Directory.
* Find and share sample documents, templates of forms, evaluation reports,
and others in the Document Exchange.
* Read and share conference session notes, outlines, and proposals from
sessions that other members have attended or presented in the
Conference Hub.
* Update your membership information, manage your list serve options and
link to the Museum Theatre Discussion Forums.
2) Email notifications of upcoming regional and international conferences and other
events related to museum theatre.
3) Option to sign up for the IMTAL list serve and participate in online Museum
Theatre Discussion Forums.
4) INSIGHTS, IMTAL's quarterly newsletter in a print or PDF version.
5) Discounts on registration at IMTAL events around the world and discounted
membership to IMTAL's partner organization, the American Alliance for Theatre
& Education (AATE). (During 2008-09 IMTAL members receive 20% discount on

6) List your products and services in the Marketplace section of the website.
7) An invitation to submit proposals for workshops and performances to be
presented at conferences and festivals, including IMTAL conferences and other
museum conferences around the world. IMTAL may help pay your registration to
present at museum conferences in your specific discipline or area of the country.
8) An invitation to vote in all IMTAL elections and make your voice heard and the
opportunity to run for offices on the IMTAL Executive Board.
9) Contribute links to the IMTAL website.
Business/Institution IMTAL Membership ($110 US)

Business/institution members receive the same benefits as above, with the following differences and additions:
1) Two individuals from your institution, organization or business may be specified
to receive copies of INSIGHTS and email notifications and to vote in IMTAL
elections.
2) Multiple individuals from your institution, organization or business may request
access to the Members Area, participate in the list serve and post to the
discussion forums.
3) Any two individuals from your institution, organization or business will receive
discounted registration to IMTAL conferenes around the world.
4) Receive one free ad in IMTAL-Americas confrence programs.
Student Membership ($35 US)

Student Members receive the same benefits as individual members. To apply for student membership, you must provide a copy of your current student ID. You may scan it and email it to the IMTAL Membership Officer or you can photocopy it and mail it to the address below.
