AAM Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado


IMTAL held many events at the 2008 AAM Annual Meeting and Museum Expo from April 27 - May 1 in Denver, Colorado. The theme for the conference was "Leadership: An Open Mic for New Ideas." There was a great buzz about museum theatre and we made many new friends. Read about the event HERE.

 

 

Make Plans Now for the 2008 IMTAL Regional Conference

 

The Kentucky Historical Society in Frankfort, KY will be hosting this year's Regional IMTAL Conference from September 5-7, 2008. Put it on your calendars now, start planning a session to propose, and check back soon for additional infromation.

 

 

IMTAL Membership Dues to Increase May 31, 2008

 

The IMTAL Board has been hard at work improving the services we provide to our members, and we have many more in the works (including online payments!) Read about the expanded membership benefits HERE.

 

To make all of these new ventures possible, IMTAL is increasing membership dues to align with comparable professional associations. We invite you to renew your membership and encourage your colleagues to join IMTAL before May 31, 2008 to take advantage of current rates. Please note that payment must be received by June 1, 2008 to obtain the previous rate, and any membership renewed or begun during this period will be active through April 30, 2009.
